From Chillventa:
Chillventa, the world’s leading trade fair for refrigeration technology, is set to expand its exhibition area in 2026. From 13 to 15 October in Nuremberg, professional visitors will benefit from a larger show floor and a more intuitive layout designed to enhance the overall experience.
The success of the 2024 edition — with fully booked stands and packed aisles — clearly demonstrated the need for structural growth. Chillventa once again confirmed its role as the central platform for the international refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, and heat pump industries.
In response, the 2026 edition will feature a brand-new hall (Hall 1), increasing the total exhibition space and providing new opportunities for both exhibitors and visitors. “The pre-booking phase has shown that there is no longer room for additional exhibitors or larger stands within the current layout,” explained Daniela Heinkel, Chillventa Director. “By adding Hall 1, we’re creating room for growth across all sectors while ensuring clearer, more efficient navigation for all attendees.”
What’s changing?
Refrigeration technology will remain concentrated in Halls 8 and 9. Air conditioning, ventilation, and heat pump technologies will move to Halls 7 and 7A, which offer greater exhibition space. Content currently in Hall 7A will be largely relocated to Hall 4A, while Hall 7 will be redistributed across Halls 1 and 4. Meanwhile, the topics of Halls 5 and 6 will be swapped: MSR technology will move to Hall 6, becoming a central connector between the refrigeration, air conditioning, and ventilation segments.
These changes will create more space for innovation and a clearer thematic distribution. The addition of Hall 1 also allows the visitor route to fully connect through the central entrance, significantly improving orientation and visitor flow.
