Centro Studi Galileo, a globally recognized authority in HVACR technology training, was recently in Dubai due to several international commitments: not only has a new training center been established inside Epta Middle East, but CSG CEO Marco Buoni has furhter delivered a speech at a United Nations-UNEP meeting dedicated to the future of the industry in Asian countries.
At the end of April, a new training course took place within EPTA Middle East headquarters in Dubai, enabling technicians and refrigeration professionals to obtain the F-Gas Certification, which allows for the handling of fluorinated gases.
The course, held by the Expert Trainer Stefano Sarti (who has been a key figure in courses organized in Arab countries on multiple occasions), culminated on Wednesday, April 24th, with a final exam. The examiner was Marco Buoni, CEO of Centro Studi Galileo and Past President (now responsible for international affairs) of AREA, as well as Secretary of ATF, the Italian Association of Refrigeration Technicians. The educational spaces were set up inside the company itself, which has received the recognition of Qualified Training Center as part of the ambitious HVACR Leadership Academy project in cooperation with Eurovent Middle East.
The implementation of the project, coordinated by Silvia Romanò (Chief International Affairs of Centro Studi Galileo), was made possible thanks to the collaboration of several CSG partners, who enabled the provision of cutting-edge spaces and top-of-the-line equipment to the students. In particular, Eurovent Middle East and its Managing Director, Markus Lattner, and Andrea Cavalet, General Manager of Epta Middle East.
Marco Buoni, in addition to meeting with local representatives of partner companies, participated as a speaker at the Joint Thematic Meeting for High Ambient Temperature (HAT)/Group 2 Countries in West and South Asia Regions, an event organized by the United Nations (UNEP) to address the challenges and opportunities associated with transitioning to long-term alternatives in the RACHP sectors in countries with high ambient temperature conditions.
The certificates of participation in the course were delivered during a second UNEP meeting, the West Asia Network (2024) Meeting for National Ozone Officers, in the presence of the local Ministry of Environment, confirming the commitment of the parties involved in promoting quality and sustainability in the refrigeration sector, even in the Middle Eastern regions.
