The International Special Issue of Industria&Formazione distributed during #COP29

The International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR) distributed the tenth edition of the UNEP-IIR-AREA-CSG International Special Issue by Industria&Formazione at #COP29 Climate Change Conference in Baku, Azerbaijan.

COP29 (from November 11 to 22) is the second major event where ISI was distributed, just a few days after MOP36, Meeting of the Parties for Protocol of Montreal on the transition to alternative refrigerants and the phase down of HFCs. The dissemination of the magazine at COP29, in Baku, provided an opportunity to raise awareness among global leaders and policymakers about the importance of innovative and sustainable solutions in the refrigeration field, contributing to the global fight against climate change.

The magazine once again gathers the leading names of global HVAC sector, who have crafted a dense web of articles regarding the future of our sector, its evolution, and its impact on energy, the environment, and the fight against climate change. Among many other, Minister Gilberto Pichetto Fratin of MASE (Italian Ministry for the Environment and Energy Security) contributed to the forewords of the magazine.

The international magazine, or ISI (International Special Issue) is distributed by the United Nations and the IIR during international summits and meetings, to the Heads of State of the 180 countries that have signed the Montreal Protocol, and was also previewed at Chillventa 2024.
