We have great news: the deadline for the European Rising Stars 2026 Video Competition, hosted by AREA and World Refrigeration Day, has been officially extended to May 5th, 2026!
If you haven’t had the time to record your entry yet, you now have a few extra days to put your hard work in the spotlight and gain European recognition. The competition is looking for the best and brightest in two categories:
Category A – Youth Best Practice:
Open to installers and technicians under 25.
Show us your hands-on skills and best practices in handling RACHP systems.
Category B – Women in Cooling:
Open to women of all ages. Celebrate your excellence in system design and application.
What’s in it for you?
The first-place winner in each category will take home:
💶 A €1,000 cheque from World Refrigeration Day.
✈️ An all-expenses-paid trip (travel and accommodation) to attend the AREA General Assembly in Madrid on May 22nd, 2026.
🏆 A commemorative trophy (also awarded to 2nd and 3rd place).
How to enter:
- Create a video (maximum 10 minutes) clearly demonstrating your chosen technical activity. All European languages are welcome!
- Submit your entry privately via the AREA RACHP Facebook page or email it to info@area-eur.be.
