The 2025 edition of the Women in Cooling Awards marked an important recognition for Aleksandra Milić (TEON), who received second place in Category B – RACHP Design Excellence during the ceremony held today in Turin.

This year’s competition also showcased exceptional talent across Europe. Milena Boettcher (Germany) earned second place in Category A – RACHP Best Practice Mastery during the VDKF general meeting in Hamburg, while Araceli Pino Ruiz (INTARCON) was awarded third place in Category B during the C&R 2025 exhibition in Madrid. Their achievements reflect the growing visibility and impact of women in refrigeration, air conditioning, heat pumps and related technologies.

Applications are now open for the 2026 edition, European Rising Stars: Women and Youth in Cooling – Video Competitions, which includes the Young Talent and Women in Cooling categories. Winners will receive a €1,000 prize and a trip to Madrid to collect their award during the next international ceremony.The competition aims to promote excellence, support emerging professionals and encourage broader participation in a sector undergoing rapid technological and regulatory transformation.
