The Kyrgyz Refrigeration Association “Ecoholod” is organizing the Congress of Refrigeration Specialists of the Kyrgyz Republic, which will take place on 26–27 September 2026 in Issyk-Kul, Kyrgyzstan. The initiative is promoted with the support of the Ozone Centre of the Kyrgyz Republic and is addressed to professionals working in refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps.
The Congress will bring together representatives of the RACHP sector, technical experts, training and educational institutions, industry stakeholders and other professionals involved in the development of the sector. The aim is to create an opportunity for technical and institutional exchange, encouraging the sharing of national experiences, specialist knowledge and good practices.
Particular attention will be given to the participation of RAC experts from Europe and Central Asia. Their contribution will offer an important opportunity to strengthen regional cooperation and consolidate dialogue among technicians, associations, institutions and organisations involved in the implementation of the Montreal Protocol and its Kigali Amendment.
At a time when the refrigeration and air-conditioning sector is facing the transition towards lower-climate-impact refrigerants, greater energy efficiency and higher standards of safety and competence, initiatives such as this Congress play a strategic role. Sharing technical expertise and strengthening regional networks are essential elements to support the evolution of the sector and help countries align with international environmental policies.
