
Centro Studi Galileo will bring its expertise at ATMOsphere Europe 2025, taking place in Padua, Italy, on 24–25 November, with a dedicated session on training and certification in refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump technologies. The 15th edition of the event stands as a benchmark for innovation and sustainability within the HVAC/R sector.
The Training & Certification Panel, organised by Centro Studi Galileo, will be held on Monday, 24 November, from 16:00 to 17:00. It will bring together experts and industry representatives to discuss the current state of professional training and certification.
Marco Buoni, Director of Centro Studi Galileo, Secretary General of ATF and Past President with a mandate for International Affairs of AREA, will open and moderate the panel, focusing on the implications of the newly adopted EU Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2215 and its potential to reinforce Europe’s training ecosystem.

Speakers include Miriam Solana Ciprès (CAREL), Mirko Bernabei (SCM Frigo), and Francesco Mastrapasqua (EPTA), who will share experiences and best practices aimed at enhancing technicians’ skills in the use of natural refrigerants.
Discussions will explore the main challenges in scaling up training programmes, fostering collaboration between training institutions, industry, and policymakers, and ensuring a smooth transition towards sustainable cooling solutions.
